Question 4
The modernization of ranching in the late 19th century in the United States was due to railroads, amounts of land, and controlled areas. By having large amounts of cattle being raised on a area of land that was contolled the rancher could feed the cattle to their likings to raise the quality of meat meaning higher price. After all of this was done this is when the railroads were introduced, which would send the cattle to packers. This both helped near-by farmers because the ranchers had to buy food for their cattle from them. Both the ranchers and farmers would attempt to work together so both could create a bigger profit for each other since many people in the original colonies wanted this beef.

Well this is short and sweet. Its suppose to be longer five paragraps(hint.) But overall a your facts are Adequate and they make sense. I would just like to read some more information about The modernization of ranching in the late 19th century and see how far you can take your response.
ReplyDeleteThis should be 5 paragraphs not one. I would like to hear more of your opinion on the question/topic. You explained things very clearly and it was easy to understand. I think you could have done better in five paragraphs seeing how well you did with one. Hope that next time there is more information.
ReplyDeleteEven though your post was short it still summed up how ranching was used as a a way to make profit in the 19th century. You still answered the question in a sensible manner. Ranching was a successful way of trade in the 19th century. I cant wait to see the rest of your posts.
ReplyDeleteIt was short and to the point. It gave me a lot of information i definetly didn't know about. It should be five paragraphs though. I wish there was a further explanation on it though. Good job though.

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't short, it was fun sized! Don't sweat the length as much as the info. You pretty much summed up what needed to be talked about, and how farmers and cattle ranchers cooperated. Nice work. Just don't let Bozarth see this.
